Tunis/Tunisia — The House of People's Representatives (French: ARP) adopted during a plenary session held on Thursday, a bill on the authorisation of the state to subscribe to the seventh general capital increase of the African Development Bank (AfDB), as well as to the securities created by virtue of Ireland's accession to the AfDB, and which represent one billion 220 million and 350 1, 220 350 000 units of calculations.
The proposal to help the AfDB mobilise more financial resources to finance its operations was approved by 108 MPs, with 3 abstentions and no opposition.
