Luanda — Petro de Luanda beat Interclube 92-71 on Tuesday in the first game of the national senior men's basketball championship final, living up to the favoritism that is attributed to them in the five-match play-off.
Petro de Luanda started the game poorly and ended the first period with a 10-point deficit (18-28), but had an overwhelming second quarter in which they outscored their opponents 28-13 going ahead (46-41) in the half time.
