Gambia: Govt Clarifies U.S.$200,000 OIC Funded Legal Fees for Local Team Leading the Case Against Myanmar

Press release : In the wake of a raging controversy over some Two Hundred Thousand Dollars($200,000)

paid to past and present senior officials at the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice, The Gambia Government wishes to inform the public and the international community, that contrary to widespread allegations of corruption, the funds were legally paid to these officials as honorarium for jointly prosecuting the case against Myanmar.
