Namibia: Kekufosahala in Windhoek With Dj Siya

Zambezi region's most celebrated DJ Siya, real name Siyaya Alexander Sikalumbu, is hosting a get-together at the old Club Chez Ntemba tomorrow. The event, dubbed 'Kekufosahala in Windhoek', which means, 'it is going to happen in Windhoek', will have a stellar line-up from comedians to a guest artist from Zambia.

Sikalumbu told VIBEZ! the line up is powerful. "I love music - and many times, I always want to push other people as well, so this show is not about me but it's about everyone on the poster. When we push each other or work together in our music industry, we will prosper. Two comedians from Katima, Shakufweba and Mr Mazoho, will keep people laughing during the show."

Siya dropped his anticipated album, 'Kabunya', last December. He said it has been received very well and there are plans to host another show in this regard. "We are still going to do an official launch for the album, and preparation for the launch has begun. 'Kabunya' will be launched in Katima Mulilo in December to mark its one year anniversary." The album is also available on all digital platforms, with the next batch of copies due to arrive next week with Kabunya t-shirts.

Siya also revealed he will be performing a new single with Hikwa star Sunny Boy at the event. "Me, Sunny Boy and Temi Dimples have a single coming out soon - and it's massive. We want to keep it a surprise but if you attend the show on Saturday, we will surely give a little teaser about the song."

Other performing acts include Umoya, Dj Vuyo, Tashen, Under G and Temi Dimple.
