Uganda: Fire Near CPs As Police Warns Troublemakers Ahead of May 12 Swearing-in

Kampala, Uganda — Hours after Uganda Police Spokesperson CP Fred Enanga warned against parallel swearing-in ceremonies, and stated his forces readiness ahead of the swearing in of President Yoweri Museveni due Wednesday, a mysterious fire incident and case of a petrol bomb being hurled, have been reported.

Kampala media houses reported Monday night of an incident where controversial former Jinja RDC Eric Sakwa's car was petrol bombed by unknown assailants at Nakulabye, on the outskirts of the city. He survived the incident but his car was destroyed.
