Tunisia: Coronavirus - 81 Additional Deaths, 11,634 in Total

Tunis/Tunisia — The Ministry of Public Health reported on Wednesday 1,105 new cases of infection by the Coronavirus and 81 additional deaths as of May 11, bringing to 11,634, the total number of deaths since the outbreak of the epidemic.

4,018 tests were carried out on the same date, bringing the total number of tests carried out since the outbreak of the pandemic to 1,376,013, a statement of the Ministry of Health reads.

The number of people who have been cured is 1,716 as of 11 May, while the total number of cured patients is 283, 270.

Some 2,349 patients are still hospitalised in public and private institutions, including 446 in intensive care and 135 still on oxygen, according to the Ministry of Health's daily report.
