Morocco Takes Part in Arab League Urgent Meeting

Cairo — Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita takes part Tuesday in the urgent meeting of the Council of the Arab League, held via videoconference, at the level of foreign ministers to discuss the development of the situation in Al Quds Asharif.

This ministerial meeting will discuss Arab and international action to face the brutal Israeli crimes and attacks against the Palestinian people in the occupied city of Al-Quds, including the savage Israeli offensive against the worshippers during the month of Ramadan and the attacks and plans to seize the houses of the Al Quds' inhabitants in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah and other areas of the city in an attempt to displace the holy city's population, said the Palestinian ambassador to Egypt, Diab Al-Louh.

These practices are part of the systematic Israeli policy to Judaize Al-Quds and change the legal and historical status of the city and its holy sites, the Palestinian diplomat stressed in a press statement, adding that the meeting will also discuss the repercussions of Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip.
