Angola Reports 283 Infections, 12 Recoveries

Luanda — Angolan health authorities announced Sunday 283 fresh cases, 12 recoveries and 4 deaths.

According to medical bulletin, as many as 239 new cases were reported in Luanda.

Infections were also detected in Cabinda with 12, 11 in Cuanza Norte, 10 in Huambo, 4 in Huíla, 2 in Uíge and Zaire, and Cunene, Malanje and Lunda Sul with 1 each.

The new infections feature154 men and 129 women, aged 3-78 years old.

The deaths were registered 2 in Luanda, 1 in Huambo and 1 in Cunene, involving Angolan citizens.

The recoveries were from patients resident in Luanda.

Angola has currently 30,637 positive cases, 659 deaths, 25,715 recoveries and 4,263 active patients.
