Tunisia: 21,608 People Were Administered Covid-19 Vaccine On Wednesday, May 26, 2021

Tunis/Tunisia — The Ministry of Health said Thursday that 21,608 doses of vaccine against COVID-19 were administered on Wednesday, May 26, bringing the total number of people vaccinated since the start of the national vaccination campaign on March 13 to 853,432.

The ministry said in a statement published Thursday that 578,432 people received the first shot of vaccine while the second shot was administered to 274,997 people.

In total, 1,977,978 people have been registered on the EVAX platform on the 75th day of the start of the national vaccination campaign, the statement said.

The Ministry of Health reiterated its call to all citizens wishing to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to register on the EVAX platform.
