Tunisia: Nearly 420 Athletes to Take Part in 22nd Arab Senior Athletics Championship in Rades

Tunis/Tunisia — Nearly 420 athletes from 19 countries are expected from June 16 to 20 at the Rades Athletics Stadium to take part in the 22nd edition of the Arab Senior Athletics Championship (men and women). During this championship, which will be a qualifying stage for the Tokyo 2020+1 Olympic Games, Tunisia will be represented by nearly fifty athletes, with eyes on the qualification of six athletes for the Olympic meeting. Athletes Ryadh Chenenni (800 m), Mohammad Fares Jelassi (400m), Mohamed Amine Touati (400 m hurdles), Ahmed Jaziri (3000 m steeplechase), Chahinez Nasri (walk) and Marwa Bouziane (3000 m steeplechase) will try to reach the minimum required to book their ticket for the Olympics.
