Egypt: PM Reviews Digitalization Efforts of Notary Offices

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said Saturday 12/06/2021 the state; upon directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, pays great attention to developing public services and facilitating their access.

Meeting Minister of Justice Omar Marwan, Madbouli ordered accelerating the pace of notary public offices' digitization process nationwide.

Marwan said his ministry spares no effort to increase the number of notary public offices nationwide, digitalize the services, create an appropriate work environment, and raise the efficiency of the current headquarters.

The ministry has introduced a one-stop-shop system to shorten the work cycle needed to issue a required document, he added.

The notary public offices added a translation service, in addition to providing documentation services through post offices in several governorates, the minister said.

Soon, the documentation services will also be available at technology centers equipped by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, he added.

The offices also offer their services via a mobile app, Digital Egypt platform, as well as the newly-launched mobile documentation service vehicles, Marwan said.
