Algeria: Over 600,000 Pupils to Sit Tuesday for Intermediate Education Examination

Algiers — A total of 641,187 pupils will sit, as of Tuesday, for the intermediate education examination for the school year 2020-2021.

The number of pupils registered for this examination is 641,187, 625,223 of whom are schooled (292,767 boys and 332,456 girls) and 15,964 are non-schooled candidates (11100 boys and 4864 girls), according to the National Office for Examinations (ONEC).

The marking of the exam papers will start on 22 June and will continue until 3 July 2021.

The Commander of the National Gendarmerie has set up a special security mechanism nationwide to ensure the security of all the schools located in its jurisdiction.
