Tunisia: Covid-19 - Infection Caseload Surges in Medenine

Tunis/Tunisia — 53 COVID-19 infections had been reported in the past 24 hours in Medenine governorate, taking the infection caseload to 15,928, including 14,797 recoveries and 646 deaths, Preventive Health Director Zayed El Anz stated to TAP Wednesday.

40 patients are currently hospitalised in the region, 6 of whom are in intensive care.

51,259 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the region since the start of the national jab drive.
