Tunisia: Covid-19 - Positivity Rate Rises to About 32 Percent (Ministry)

Tunis/Tunisia — Tunisia had logged 2,379 COVID-19 infections on June 16 from 7,450 conducted tests (31.93 % positivity rate), pushing the caseload to 376,691, the Health Ministry said Thursday.

A further 71 deaths were reported, taking the death toll to 13,792.

Recoveries also rose by 2,308, hitting 328,637.

Besides, the ministry reported 130 additional hospitalisations on June 16, taking the current number of the hospitalised patients to 2,613, 469 of whom are in intensive care and 124 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
