Tunisia: Tataouine-Covid-19 - Two Deaths and 37 Further Infections

Tunis/Tunisia — Two people died in the governorate of Tataouine from the coronavirus during the last 24 hours, bringing to 265 the number of deaths linked to the pandemic in the region.

In addition, 37 new cases of infection have been recorded in the region, where the number of infected people has reached 5,151 cases since the virus appeared.

The new positive cases were discovered in Tataouine-North (17 cases), Tataouine-South (13 cases) and Remada (7 cases), according to an updated report published on Saturday by the Regional Health Directorate.

According to the same source, 14 patients are currently admitted to the regional hospital of Tataouine and 3 others to the Remada local hospital.
