Tunisia: Zaghouan-Covid-19 - Two Deaths and 101 People Tested Positive

Tunis/Tunisia — Two people died on Saturday from the coronavirus in the governorate of Zaghouan.

They are a man (74 years old) from Saouaf and a woman (55 years old) from Bir Mcherga, which brings to 202 the total number of deaths linked to the pandemic in the region.

In a statement to TAP, Regional Deputy Director of Basic Health in Zaghouan, Nebil Ouerfelli said that 101 new people have tested positive in the governorate where the tally of infected people has reached 6,088 cases since the outbreak of the virus.

According to the same source, more than half of the new infections were detected in the delegations of Zaghouan and El Fahs.
