Tunisia: Coronavirus - 4 More Deaths and 105 New Infections in Sidi Bouzid

Tunis/Tunisia — The governorate of Sidi Bouzid, Saturday, logged 4 more coronavirus-related deaths. Therefore, overall fatality numbers from the pandemic have risen to 351, local deputy director of primary health Béchir Saidi told TAP.

105 people have also tested positive, bringing to 11,723 the total number of COVID-19 cases in the region, since the spread of the pandemic, including 10,706 recoveries.

The new positive cases detected Saturday were distributed as follows: 39 cases in West Sidi Bouzid, 5 cases in Jelma, 2 cases in Bir Lahfay, 6 cases in Regueb, 13 cases in Souk Jedid, 6 cases in Menzel Bouzaine, 4 cases in Meknassi, 7 cases in East Sidi Bouzid, 3 cases in Cebalet Ouled Asker, 4 cases in Sidi Ali Ben Aouan and 15 cases in Ouled Haffouz.

According to the same source, the current number of COVID patients admitted to hospitals in the governorate is 70, including 47 admitted to the regional hospital of Sidi Bouzid, 8 to the local hospital of Bir Lahfay, 8 to the hospital of Regueb and one to the hospital of Meknnassi.
