Africa: Nine African Ministers to Partake in FITA 2021 - TABD's Jaziri

Tunis/Tunisia — Nine African ministers will partake in the 4th Financing Investment & Trade in Africa (FITA 2021) due on June 24-26 in Tunis, President of the Tunisia-Africa Business Council (TABC) Anis Jaziri stated to TAP.

Several business leaders and international funders such as the World Bank (WB) and the African Development Bank (AfDB), will also be present at this event, he specified.

The goal is to explore ways of responding to the various threats facing the African continent, through several panels.

The establishment of a platform in Tunisia facilitating trade between the North and Sub-Saharan Africa and the development of a continental free trade area are among the main issues to be discussed.

In this regard, the Trans-Sahara Highway project and ways to develop trade between Tunisia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Libya will also be on the agenda, the official indicated, pointing out that Libya will the guest of honour of this edition.
