There will be a panel discussion on Building Climate Adaptation for Resilient Growth on Thursday, 24 June 2021, during the African Development Bank's 2021 Annual Meetings.

Panellists will examine the importance of climate adaptation for resilient growth in post-Covid-19 Africa and focus on how to scale up adaptation finance, including from public, private and domestic resources. They will also explore innovative financing instruments and Africa's adaptation solutions.

There will be a presentation of existing adaptation and resilience initiatives in Africa, including the Africa Adaptation Acceleration Programme, the Africa Disaster Risk Financing Initiative, the ClimDev-Africa Special Fund, the Adaptation Benefits Mechanism and many more.
