Tunisia: Covid-19 - Siliana Reports 5 Deaths and 134 Infections

Tunis/Tunisia — Five more people have died of coronavirus in the governorate of Siliana over the past 48 hours, bringing the toll to 259 since the spread of the pandemic.

134 more infections have also been recorded, taking the count to 7,497, reads the latest report of the Local Health Directorate

The new positive cases have been detected in Makthar (32 cases), Gaafour (27 cases), Bou Arada (20 cases), Rouhia (19 cases), Siliana -downtown (13 cases), Sidi Bourouis (11 cases), El Aroussa (6 cases), Bargou (3 cases) and El Krib (3 cases), Local Health Director Adel Hadadi told TAP.

33 COVID-19 patients are currently staying in Siliana Regional Hospital, 8 of them are in ICUs, the same source says, adding that 51 others are admitted to various local hospitals.
