Tunisia: Covid-19 - Sousse Reports 5 Deaths and 619 Additional Infections

Tunis/Tunisia — The governorate of Sousse reported 5 COVID-related deaths and 617 additional infections in the past 24 hours from 1,418 conducted tests.

Hence, the region has seen since the outbreak of the pandemic a total of 30,463 infections, 2,445 of whom have recovered and 909 died, according to the latest report of the local health directorate in Sousse.

Besides, 297 patients are currently in the various public and private health facilities of the governorate with 213 people under oxygen, 65 in ICU and 19 under ventilators.
