Angola: Cabo Verdean Consular Launches Campaign in Cabinda

Cabinda — Cabo Verde started Monday in Angola's northern Cabinda province a campaign aimed at facilitating its citizens to have access to consular services in their country.

In order to ensure the success of the drive, the ambassador of Cabo Verde to Angola, Jorge Eduardo Figueiredo, arrived in Cabinda Sunday, along with a technical team, to assist the community in handling their documents.

On Monday , the diplomat also commemorated the 46th anniversary of independence of Cabo Verde.

The event also gathered the community residing in Cabinda.

After calling for the unity, the diplomat recalled the long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of Angola and Cabo Verde.
