Tunisia: Fitch Ratings Downgrades Tunisia to 'B-' - Outlook Negative

Tunis/Tunisia — Fitch Ratings agency has downgraded Tunisia's Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) to 'B-' from 'B'. The Outlook is Negative, the agency said in a statement.

The downgrade to 'B-' and Negative Outlook reflect "heightened fiscal and external liquidity risks in the context of further delays in agreeing on a new programme with the IMF, which is necessary for access to most official creditors' budget support."
