Africa: Covid-19 Death Toll Exceeds 150,000 Across Continent

Cape Town — As of July 10 confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 5,869,127 while over 37,004,431 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 151,175 and 5,105,201 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,179,297 and 63,873 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (539,839), Tunisia (481,735), Egypt (282,864), Ethiopia (276,871), Libya (201,236) and Kenya (187,977).
