Tunisia: Covid-19 - Over 42,832 Vaccine Doses Administered On Saturday, July 17 (Ministry of Health)

Tunis/Tunisia — The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 42,832 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday, July 17, 2021, on the 127th day of the national vaccination campaign, including 26,055-second doses administered.

In its daily bulletin on the progress of the national vaccination campaign, the Ministry of Health added that the total number of people vaccinated up to 17 July is 891,620 with 781,483 people having been administered the two doses of vaccine and 11,0137 people recovered from the infection having received the first injection.

Since the launch of the vaccination campaign on March 13, 2021, 2,347,547 doses of vaccine have been administered.

The total number of people enrolled in the EVAX Covid-19 vaccination platform reached 3,519,400 registrants as of 3 pm on Sunday.

The Ministry of Health has renewed its call to all citizens who wish to be vaccinated against the coronavirus to register on the EVAX platform.
