Angola: Parliament Readjusts Plenary Agenda for July 27

Luanda — The agenda of the extraordinary plenary meeting for Tuesday (27th) was readjusted Friday, with the inclusion of the Bills on Unofficial Electoral Registration and on the Organic Law of General Elections

The move follows a last minute decision made at the extraordinary conference of Parliamentary leaders, chaired by the National assembly Speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos on Friday.

With the inclusion of these two Bills, from the legislative initiative of the opposition UNITA parliamentary group, the agenda of the extraordinary plenary meeting, on the 27th of July, now has 12 points for discussion.

The documents will be discussed at the same time, in general term, with the Bill and Draft Law, a legislative initiative by the ruling MPLA Parliamentary group and the Executive, respectively, which deal with the same theme.
