Egypt: Supply Ministry Ensures Fuel Is Available At Gas Stations Following Oil Price Hikes

Supply Minister Ali el Moselhi has directed control sectors to launch campaigns to ensure that all types of fuel are available at gas stations and conduct physical inventories.

The minister instructed the jewelry stamping and scales authority to check scales at fuel stations to ensure the proper application of the recent hike in oil prices, the ministry said in a statement on Friday.

Meanwhile, the heads of supply directorates said they are following up the situation on the ground since early Friday and launched many campaigns to prevent any violation that may be committed after the oil price hikes.

They asserted that all types of fuel are available in large quantities at stations.
