Tunisia: Siliana Reports 2 Deaths of Coronavirus and 127 New Infections

Tunis/Tunisia — Siliana governorate reported Saturday two new deaths of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours and 127 more infections.

The case tally in the region is therefore up to 12,166, including 409 deaths, according to a report published by the Local Health Directorate.

The new infections were discovered as follows: 19 cases in Siliana, 2 in Bargou, 11 in Bou Arada, 12 in Gaafour, 36 in El Krib, 30 in Makther and 17 cases in Errouhia.

The local hospital of Siliana currently hosts 36 coronavirus patients, of whom 8 are in intensive care, while another 75 patients are admitted to other hospitals in the governorate, according to the same source.
