Tunisia: Gabes - Demonstrations for and Against President's Decisions

Tunis/Tunisia — Demonstrations for and against the decisions of President of the Republic Kais Saied were observed on Monday in Ain Salem square in Gabes.

Supporters of Ennahdha party in Gabes condemned the President's decisions, considering these measures «unconstitutional.»

On the other hand, a crowd of young people in favour of the President's decisions gathered to affirm their support for the presidential measures.

Scuffles broke out between the two groups, which were quickly contained and passed without damage.
