The World Food Programme (WFP) has stated that Nigeria and 22 other countries across the globe would experience acute food insecurity over the next four months as steep food insecurity levels continue to increase in scale and severity.
According to WFP's report obtained from its website, the situation is of grave concern as conflict, the economic repercussions of Covid-19 and climate crisis are expected to drive higher levels of acute food insecurity in these countries which it tagged as "hunger hotspots."
