Tunisia: Vaccination Campaign in Workplace for People Over 40 Years to Kickoff Wednesday

Tunis/Tunisia — The Ministries of Health and Social Affairs, on Monday, issued a joint statement announcing the start of the vaccination campaign targeting people over 40 years old.

The campaign will be extended later to all age groups in order to preserve the health of all workers in the various sectors, the statement said.

For the private sector, this campaign will be carried out by occupational physicians, in coordination with the directorates of labour inspection and occupational safety, Local Health Directorates, and hospital and university occupational medicine services.

For the public sector, the jab drive will be carried out through mobile campaigns in coordination with the sectors concerned and the local health directorates.
