As of August 3, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 6,777,756 while over 47,106,538 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 171,867 and 5,932,686 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,461,758 and 72,437 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (633,923), Tunisia (596,775), Egypt (284,362), Ethiopia (280,833), Libya (256,328) and Kenya (204,271).
