The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Edo State yesterday said three people have died while 14 others sustained injuries in road crashes across the state during the Eid-el Kabir period.

The Sector Commander in the state, Henry Benamaisia, disclosed this in Benin, the state capital, in an interview with Daily Trust on the corps' activities and rescue operation during the festive period.

According to him, regular marshals, in collaboration with special marshals, embarked on Sallah special patrol activities from 16th to 25th of July, to ensure a crime-free celebration devoid of traffic hitches.
