Tunisia: Ennahdha Shura Council to Meet Wednesday to Examine State of Affairs - Ayadi

Tunis/Tunisia — Ennahdha Shura Council is set to meet Wednesday to examine the situation in the country and spell out a stance on the latest developments following the decisions announced on July 25 by President Kais Saied, party spokesman Fethi Ayadi said.

Commenting on the possible inclusion of such issues as the resignation of some party mmebers on the agenda, Ayadi said the meeting will address all issues and proposals tabled by Council mmenbers.

Ennahdha decided to postpone the Shura Council meeting, initially set for last Saturday, shortly before it was due. That same evening, the party said Rached Ghannouchi was taken to hospital for a minor health problem.
