Angola: President Appoints New Constitutional Court Chief Judge

Luanda — The Head of State, João Lourenço, today, Thursday, appointed Laurinda Jacinto Prazeres Monteiro Cardoso, to the post of Chief Judge of the Constitutional Court, replacing Manuel Aragão.

A note from the President of the Republic's Civil House indicates that Laurinda Cardoso was relieved of her post as secretary of State for Territorial Administration, a post she had held since April 2020.
