Africa: Nearly 60 Million Covid-19 Vaccinations Administered Across Continent

As of August 21, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 7,450,043 while over 59,334,632 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 187,896 and 6,563,466 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,666,964 and 78,983 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (799,775), Tunisia (635,455), Ethiopia (293,737), Libya (293,532) Egypt (285,995) and Kenya (227,077).
