Africa: Over 95,7 Million Vaccinations Administered Across the Continent

As of October 11, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  8,389,012 while over 95,763,535 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  213,913 and  7,714,444 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases  2,912,145 and 88,317 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 939,187 ), Tunisia ( 709,834 ), Ethiopia ( 354,476 ), Libya ( 346,176 ), Egypt ( 312,413 ) and Kenya ( 251,152 ).

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) using statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health departments.
