Africa: Over 8.6 Million Covid-19 Cases Confirmed Across Continent

As of November 29, 2021, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 8,638,733 while over 145,314,195 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 222,797 and 8,055,926 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,961,406 and 89,797 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (949,732), Tunisia (717,258), Libya (372,209), Ethiopia (371,262), Egypt (356,718) and Kenya (254,951).
