Africa: Over 8.1 Million Covid-19 Recoveries Across Continent

As of December 8, 2021, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  8,773,400 while over  156,583,736 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  223,983 and  8,111,315 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases  3,051,222 and 90,002  people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  950,801 ), Tunisia (  718,696 ), Libya (  375,869 ), Ethiopia (  372,462 ), Egypt (  364,922 ) and Kenya (  255,544 ).
