Africa: Continent Passes 10 Million Mark for Confirmed Covid-19 Cases

As of January 10, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 10,092,830 while over 196,741,231 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  231,405  and  8,923,907 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases  3,526,054 and  92,453  people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,002,084 ), Tunisia (  743,838 ), Ethiopia (  444,124 ), Libya  (  393,447  ) Egypt (  392,857 ) and Kenya ( 311,538  )
