South Africa: Court Dismisses Farmer's Claim to Privacy Over Baboon Killing

The Supreme Court of Appeal has ruled that an activist had the right to publish personal details of a farmer who trapped animals in cages.

Herman Botha, a farm owner, took Bool Smuts, a conservationist, to court for violating his right to privacy. The High Court found in favour of Botha, so Smuts appealed.
