Africa: Over 236,000 Covid-19 Deaths Across Continent

Harare — As of January 24, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached   10,580,634 while over 205,275,858 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached   236,169 and  9,436,859 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases  3,581,359 and   94,117 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,098,413 ), Tunisia ( 846,761 ), Ethiopia ( 462,107 ), Egypt ( 410,098 ), Libya  ( 405,425 )  and Kenya ( 320,229 )
