Africa: Continent Nears 11 Million Confirmed Cases of Covid-19

As of February 3, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  10,892,533 while over  214,680,685 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  239,706 and  9,772,783 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases  3,612,809 and  95,463 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,138,847 ), Tunisia (  917,814 ), Ethiopia (  465,792 ), Libya (  438,303 ), Egypt (  430,480 ) and Kenya (  321,671 ).
