Harare — As of March 2, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 11,239,163 while over 247,660,055 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.
Reported deaths in Africa reached 248,781 and 10,353,684 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,675,691 and 99,430 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,161,131 ), Tunisia ( 998,230 ), Ethiopia ( 468,770 ), Libya ( 495,115 ), Egypt ( 485,093 ) and Kenya ( 322,978 ).
