Africa: Over 250,000 Confirmed Covid-19 Deaths Across Continent

As of March 13, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,428,961 while over 256,741,258 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 250,839 and   10,432,978 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,693,532 and 99,712 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,162,040 ) , Tunisia ( 1,028,717 ), Libya ( 499,767 ), Egypt ( 495,373 ), Ethiopia ( 469,170 ), and Kenya ( 323,171 ).
