Africa: Over 11.3 Million Confirmed Covid-19 Cases Across Continent

As of March 20, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,334,448 while over 262,449,948 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  251,150 and  10,466,378 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,703,329 and  99,879 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,162,444 ) , Tunisia ( 1,029,762 ), Libya ( 500,864 ), Egypt (495,373), Ethiopia ( 469,441 ), and Kenya ( 323,272 ).
