Reported deaths in Africa reached 252,199 and 9,619,252 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of 3,728,689 and 100,075 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco ( 1,163,806 ) , Tunisia ( 1,037,358 ), Egypt ( 509,177 ), Libya ( 501,738 ), Ethiopia ( 469,979 ), and Kenya ( 323,524 ).
