Africa: Covid-19 Cases Across Continent Approaches 11.5 Million

As of April 13, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,447,896 while over  273,352,510 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  252,417 and  9,635,406 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,733,919 and  100,116 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,164,135 ) , Tunisia (  1,038,668 ), Egypt (  511,977 ), Libya (  501,834 ),  Ethiopia (  470,108  ), and Kenya (  323,583 ).
