Africa: Covid-19 Deaths Across Continent Total More than 9.6 Million

As of April 14, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached  11,450,166 while over  273,380,970 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  252,439 and  9,638,503 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,735,578  and  100,132 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,164,189  ) , Tunisia (  1,038,668  ), Egypt (  511,977  ), Libya (  501,834 ),  Ethiopia (  470,151  ), and Kenya (  323,588  ).
