By sharing their experiences and opinions on how they started their businesses, how they succeeded in their businesses, and how they overcame difficulties, women entrepreneurs from Japan and Africa will build a network and encourage future women entrepreneurs to boldly take on the challenge of doing business in Africa.

Empowering women entrepreneurs is one of the priorities of TICAD8 (the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development), scheduled from 27 to 28 August 2022 in Tunisia.
